شهودادێ . داوام كرد لێیان تۆزێك لۆتهكهكه ههڵكێشنه سهرترهوه . له لۆتكهیهكی دیكه كه لهوێدا دانرابوو ههڵمبهست. من كهوتمه دوایی كاورای سپی پێست و مهتۆرهیتیش به دوامدا هات. كاتێ چووینه نێو ماڵهكه كولزویتمان بینی خۆشحاڵ و زینوو له سهر سهندهڵیهك قاچه شكاوهكهی ڕاكێشاوه و ژنێك و كچێك له دهوری دانیشتون. پێاوه خاسهكه فهرمووی ئهوانه كچ و ژنهكهمن. كوڕێكیشم خوێندكاره و له زانستگای ئینگلستانه. خاتوونی ماڵ به فهڕانسهوی وتی:" ئێره به ماڵی خۆتان بزانن. لێره خۆتان مێهمان دامهنێن." كچهكیشی دوو كورسیلهی قامیشیمان بۆ دێنێته پێشێ و به زمانێكی شیرین دهڵێت:" بهڕێزان فهرموون دابنیشن." سپاس خاتوونهكان تكایه خۆتان بۆ ئێمه مهخهنه زهحمهتهوه. كوتیان: وامهفهرموون! ئێمه دهزانین چ ڕێگهیهكی سهختان بڕیوه و له كوێوهوه هاتون. ڕاحهت بن. وتمان ئێره وهك ماڵی خۆتان بزانن.
The Englishman was a barrister. Mr. Bowen was his name, and he had his office in Port of Spain, the capital, twenty-five miles away. They brought us tea with milk, toast, butter and jam.
